Norwegian Property appoints sales and marketing head

(Oslo, 6 October 2006) Aili E Klami (50) has been appointed vice president for sales and marketing at Norwegian Property ASA, where new chief executive Petter Jansen is building up his organisation.
Ms Klami, who has substantial experience from the property sector, will become a member of the company's corporate management team.
She has been vice president sales for Avantor ASA since 2002, and previous appointments over a decade with this property company include marketing manager and head of administration. Earlier, Ms Klami spent 10 years with Nydalens Compagnie. She is a graduate of the Norwegian School of Management and has taken a number of courses in property management, management and sales.

Norwegian Property was established in April, and has so far invested or agreed to invest a total of NOK 13.5 billion in 41 properties. These holdings comprise very attractive office and shop premises in Oslo and Stavanger, and their tenants are solid and reputable Norwegian businesses. The properties total 532 000 square metres and 99 per cent of this area is leased, with an average remaining lease term of about eight years.
Norwegian Property is planning to secure a listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange during the fourth quarter, and aims to become the leader in its field in Norway and later in the Nordic region.
