Forusbeen 35 is located in the business area Forus in Stavanger. Forus is located at the intersection of the municipal boarders of Stavanger, Sandnes and Sola.

More than 2,500 different companies are currently established at Forus. Equinor has their headquarter in the area as well as several trading companies aimed at a regional markets. The area is versatile with office, trade, warehouses and industry.

The building is built in 2 construction stages with an east wing (built in 1986) and a west wing (built in 1990). Between the buildings is a central building with a reception that connects the buildings. This was built in 1990 at the same time as the west wing. Base Property and Norwegian Property have entered into a cooperation agreement for the development of the property Forusbeen 35. Here you will find housing, co-working spaces, community centers and recreational areas in the coming years.

The project is a total renovation of a building complex. The support structure and the lift / stairs have been retained from the original project. New facades, technical infrastructure, internal organization and landscaping transform the building into a modern facility that meets the highest requirements for a modern office building. The result is a functional building and elegant facade solution with character and clear identity.

Existing buildings will be adapted to today’s strict environmental requirements. The new facades will provide modern security, insulation and lighting conditions. Varied outdoor spaces with a focus on the environment improve the contact with internal common areas and the green areas to the north.

The main entrance serves as a dynamic and multifunctional hub for all users and visitors of the building.

Short distance to Sola airport. There is a 4-lane motorway (E39) through the area. In the eastern parts of Forus there is very good public transport coverage, with a short distance to Stavanger and Sandnes center. Railway station is located in the east of the area. There is also immediate proximity to the airport and the University of Stavanger.
