From wine monopoly to commercial building and meeting place

Vinslottet's history began in 1932 when it opened as a wine monopoly. Today, it is a commercial building and a meeting place for locals. The building was renovated in 2019 and was designed by the architect Kristin Jarmund Arkitekter.

The property has the following energy classification: Green C.

The district of Hasle is centrally located in Hovinbyen – Oslo's largest urban development project. Geographically, it is situated in the middle of Oslo's neighborhoods to the east, north, south, and downtown.

Whether you are coming from the city center, Smestad, Furuset, Groruddalen, or Kolbotn, all roads will lead you directly to Hasle.

Hovinbyen is undergoing tremendous development and has the potential for 60,000-80,000 residents and 50,000-100,000 new jobs.

The commercial building Vinslottet is located in the heart of Hasle, within the area called Haslelinje, developed by Höegh Eiendom. The Haslelinje area is estimated to be completed in 2023, with over 6,000 employees and 1,500 residents, with Vinslottet as its nearest neighbor.

The building housing Vinslottet is the former bottling and production facility of the Wine Monopoly (Vinmonopolet) and is a well-known landmark in Hasle. After the closure of the production facility in 2012, the building has been transformed into a unique residential and commercial building, completed in the fall of 2019.

With 8,700 m2 dedicated to retail in Vinslottet, Norwegian Property is developing a commercial building and a meeting place for the local community, which will be the heart of the district.
