In 2012, our nation welcomed a new architectural landmark: Martin Linges vei 33 (SEE_Fornebu). Comprising five interconnected wings that accommodate more than 2,500 workspaces, this award-winning concept is rooted in a fundamental democratic principle: every user is afforded exceptional working conditions, with superb natural light and panoramic views.
Located by the waterfront at Fornebu, SEE_Fornebu spans 85,000 square meters and boasts high environmental certifications. Sustainability was a key focus from the project’s inception, with the stacking of uniform units designed to minimise the building’s environmental footprint. However, the sustainability of the building extends far beyond carbon emissions. The structure priorities the health and well-being of its users. Expansive windows provide uninterrupted views, and the abundance of natural light and surrounding landscape fosters reduced stress and enhanced productivity. This is a workplace where employees can truly flourish.
SEE_Fornebu is both today's and the future's workplace in a city with strong growth. Fornebu is developing rapidly and every day this new, vibrant peninsula takes a little more shape to the delight of everyone who lives and works here. When the Fornebubanen opens, the building can offer a location just a short walk from the Fornebu Senter subway stop, and until then, the express buses run every two minutes during rush hour from Oslo Central Station. Also, The building has naturally facilities such as electric car chargers, bicycle parking, showers and a fitness center with its own spinning room.
With its substantial size and flexibility, SEE_Fornebu is designed to accommodate both large and small tenants. This is more than just a commercial building — it is a vibrant arena, a space where connections are continually forged, offering new perspectives at every turn.
