Large parts of the 25,000 m2 building have been protected since 1976 and have been preserved in a way that harmonizes well with new modern requirements.
Sustainable materials such as Norwegian marble, granite, and brick have been used during the renovation, while historical details such as frescoes have been updated.
The building was designed by two of Norway's most famous architects, Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson, who also designed the enormous chandelier hanging through 7 floors.
Telegrafen covers an entire block in one of Oslo's oldest streets: Kongens gate and the old building was once the headquarters of the Televerket.

How to get there
Immediate proximity to public transport and the entrance to Stortinget subway station is a short 3-minute walk from the property.
It is also only a 5-minute walk to Oslo Central Station with the airport trains and local trains, tram, subway, and bus lines. There are also bus and tram stops on each side of the property.
